KPMG hosts Anti-Money Laundering Breakfast Seminar

Sven Stumbauer, Director-Forensic from KPMG’s Atlanta Office and Mr. Osborne Nurse, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission were the feature speakers at KPMG’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Breakfast Seminar which was held at the Ballroom of the Cascadia Hotel on Tuesday, November 20th, 2007 .

Some of the topics that the Survey findings addressed included investment in Anti-Money Laundering controls, continuous monitoring and testing, and systems for examining transactions.

In attendance were stakeholders from the financial services sector, officials from the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago, the Board of Inland Revenue and several Government Ministries, as well as key decision makers with an interest in the issue of Anti-Money Laundering.
